Best Tulips Field Photo Spots near Amsterdam 🌷

Many tourists dream about a photo within a beautiful, long tulip field when visiting Holland in spring, but only a few know where to actually take them. I bet you heard about Keukenhof, but did you know that it is just a park? You won´t find any long fields there!

While it´s actually prohibited to enter tulip fields because they belong to private farmers there are options where it is allowed to take photos. I tested 3 completely different options!

1. Tulip Barn

This place is family-owned and has plenty of space to roam around. There's a fun playground for kids and a nice food area where you can grab something to eat or drink. It's awesome for families looking for a good time together. Plus, if you're into taking lots of cool photos for Instagram, you'll love it here too! And the best part? You´ll have a lot of different long, beautiful tulip fields to take photos at!

Pros:

• perfect to shoot many Instagram photos
• a lot of different probs (like a bike, scooter, mirror, heart, swing and many more)
• you have long, one colored tulip fields
• and also mix colored tulip fields
• the area is very wide
• inexpensive entrance

Cons:

• a lot of people
• for some probs you have to wait
• it´s opening a bit late (at 10am)

2. FamFlowerFarm

This place is totally different from the first one. It's much quieter and more private. Only about 20 people can be there at once, and you have about 1.5 hours to explore and take awesome photos. It's not crowded with tourists, so it's really peaceful. You can take your time enjoying the beautiful fields and capturing great shots. Linda and Marlies own it, and they're both really passionate about flowers. They'll even give you snacks, tea, and a bouquet of flowers during your visit. It's the most relaxed field around, perfect for a peaceful experience.

Pros:

• very long one colored tulip fields
• beautiful probs (like a pink bike, baskets full of flowers and much more)
• dressing cabin to change your outfits
• you don´t have to wait
• perfect for photoshoots / family photoshoots

Cons:

• it is pricey

3. Tulip Experience Amsterdam

The third and final field is called the Tulip Experience Amsterdam. It's quite different from the others. Here, you can not just take some beautiful photos with tulips but also discover a lot about the history of tulip farmers and the growing process of tulips.

This place is run by a family and it includes a museum, a spot to grab coffee and snacks, and of course, the tulip fields with various decorations. Unlike other places, the Tulip Experience doesn't just have long fields of one color. Instead, you'll find lots of different shapes, sizes, and colors of tulips. It's really impressive to see how many different types there are. I was amazed by the variety.

If you visit the Tulip Experience, you'll learn a ton about tulips and everything related to them. You won't see this wide range of tulips at other fields, so it's a really special experience.

• you will see an incredibly vast array of tulip varieties in a multitude of colors
  
• there are probs for photos
• you can learn a lot about tulips 
• not too expensive

Cons:

• the field are not really long and one colored, what many expect when taking photos
• can get crowded
